I’ve been using Polylang for years, but now I noticed all of a sudden 2 new languages appearing. I get the error message that I need to have translations for these languages. Consequently all my posts and pages are missing in the admin section. Frontend looks and works fine.

I cannot remove these nameless (empty) languages, page reloads and they stay there, no content is associated with them. Cannot edit them either, not that I want to…

If you look at my image, you’ll find this “term_id”;i:16; in transient_pll_languages_list under _options and another one too.
These IDs are what you have to look for in _terms table, in both cases “falang” was there, so you can be sure you delete the one you don’t need.
Then you come back to “transient_pll_languages_list” which is in _options table. Truncate that according to the image, leaving that very last “}” bracket. You need 3 brackets closing the record.
Needless to say have a backup!
