Perticular category post display

    Hello,

    I have used Post in page plugin for one of my site to display post in perticular pages.I have created Blog catedory and added some posts in that.Created another sub category under blog as press and added some posts in that.When i am trying to call only blog post using [ic_add_posts category=’blog’] shortcode it is displaying all the posts including press post.How can i display only blog post in my pages.

    Hey raviac,

    Okay, I’ve thoroughly tested this out and am not running into any problems, so I’m hoping you can take a closer look and help me better identify when you’re seeing this issue.

    Here’s what I did:

    1. Created 6 posts – 1 – top-level, 2 second-level, and 3 third-level posts.
    2. Created a corresponding category – category-top, category-second, category-third
    3. Assigned top-level post to category-top, second-level to category-second, and third level to category-third
    4. Created a new page and embedded the shortcode: [ic_add_posts category="category-top"] – I get one post as expected.
    5. embedded the shortcode:[ic_add_posts category="category-second"] – I get two posts
    6. embedded the shortcode: [ic_add_posts category="category-third"]– I get three posts as expected.

    In no case did I get parent or child posts too. If you’re still having this issue, I’d make sure that the posts that you’re calling in are assigned the right categories and then try to replicate my test above and see if it’s still happening.
