    Is there a plugin that will allow users to use a PM system on my blog? The only one I’ve found is Private Notes 1.1 but it gives me this error when I try to use it: Fatal Error: Cannot redeclare pn_script() (previously declared in /home/poeticla/public_html/carter/wp-content/plugins/private_notes/private_notes.php:19) in /home/poeticla/public_html/carter/wp-content/plugins/private_notes/private_notes.php on line 23

    If anybody knows how I can fix this or knows of another plugin that would be much appreciated.

    Not sure of a PM system with WP, but if you integrate with bbPress there is a private message plugin for it using your current WP users. Not really what you wanted to hear I am sure, but the only solution I know of.

    Until just now I had no idea what bbPress even was. How would I integrate my WordPress site with bbPress? Aren’t bbPress and WordPress kind of the same thing?

    bbPress is forum software, the software that runs this support forum to be exact. Come over to http://bbpress.org and check it out. No sense ‘clogging’ up these forums on the issue as I am over there as well.

    OK I just found the page that tells how to mix the two but it seems like more work than it is worth at this point. I think I will just try to find a resolve for the Private Notes plugin. If you know much about php maybe you could be helpful in telling me why I get the error I posted above and how I might go about fixing it.

    Best bet is the plugin author page and see if they have any updates or search this forum or even google might be faster. Not much of a php bug fixer myself 😉

    Trent, thanks for the help, I’ve tried google, no luck. and the author no longer supports this plugin. I did find a guy who said he’d help, but I’ve yet to hear back from him. I’m about to pull my hair out on this one, so if anybody knows php well enough to help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
