Personal info over non-secure connection?

    Hello Folks,

    I just registered. I took a look at the profile and I see that it is over a non-secure connection. How am I to put there anything relevant with the info being “broadcast” over the net?
    Also, registration:
    If you are sending the password via (non-secure) e-mail, may the e-mail at least not include the corresponding username?

    You shouldn’t be sharing or inputting any sensitive information on a public forum. Which information are you worried about sending over a non-encrypted connection?
