    Hi Woo devs, I have a problem with the message boxes that Woo throws into the pages. Usually they’re teal boxes (where can that be changed? I have found them a little noisy-looking) and some of them helpfully say “View Cart,” but there’s one that WILL NOT GO AWAY when I visit my own Shop, and I worry that of the returning visitors I have, they may experience the same.

    I deleted a product out of my Shop and now when I’m browsing through my Shop, there’s a persistent red box at the top of the screen saying “How to Stop Procrastinating has been removed from your cart because it can no longer be purchased. Please contact us if you need assistance.” There’s no link to “contact us” or View Cart and I also wonder: if I, as the store owner, deleted a product, of what value to anyone is it that something that was added to the Cart ages ago gets this message?

    I guess the questions are: is this message really necessary? Can you please set the software up so that it shows only once? How and where can we configure these messages to appear with a certain kind of appearance and location on the page?

    Hey @janerette – I’ve tried to reproduce it.

    I added a product to the cart and then deleted it which gave this message:

    When I went to a different place and got back to the cart, that message was gone. That makes me suspect you have some form of caching on your cart/checkout that shouldn’t be there.

    Could you try disabling caching plugins (make sure that you clear the cache beforehand) and testing it again? This might be related to your hosting company as well.
