 * I’m building a template starting with the classic. I do this all the time and
   I’m very familiar with WP and templates, but I’m feeling stupid at the moment.
 * I made a template for the home page, set it in the admin as the home page, it
   works. I removed the get_sidebar tag and it still fetches my sidebar. I tested
   to be sure it is using my template and it is. WHY IS IT STILL GETTING A SIDEBAR?
 * In my frustration I deleted sidebar.php cause I don’t need it at all, but then
   it uses the default path to insert one. WHY? Isn’t it as simple as single.php…
   simply exclude the call for the sidebar. But something else is going on and I
   don’t know what.
 * Any help?

 * I figured it out. It was also being called by the FOOTER! Sheesh.
