• Hey dear support team,
I have started to create online courses over my website.
therefore I have a restricted membership area using learndash.
Testing the subscription process I found out that subscribers
entering the backoffice page have access to the quick event manager plugin
with all my events, registrations, etc.

Could you please tell me how I can fix that please?

    Kindly, Philip

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Capabilities in QEM are granted to the roles ‘administrator’, ‘editor’ and a custom role ‘event-manager’.

From your description it would seem your ‘subscribers’ are not actually ‘subscriber role’ but something else. You will need to examine the roles / capabilities granted by learndash.

I don’t specifically know anything about learndash, it may well have its own roles / capability manager. If not I suggest you looking at this plugin which is great for managing roles / capabilities https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/

Hello. Thank you for your reply. So I´ve checked with the Learn Dash Team and they do not have a specific role managing system.
Independent of LearnDash when I add subscribers to my page, they get access to my events and registrations.

I don´t use any other Role Management plugins neither. I´m using Betheme. Could that be the reason? Some of the functions of QEM did not work from the beginning.

I hope I´ll find a way. Anyway, thank you for your help

Which functions did not work from the beginning?

I’m surprised you are experiencing such an issue, perhaps I’m not fully understanding – maybe you could screen shot your screen video record you can contact me direct at support at fullworks.net

Hello. Fullworks directed me to this forum again =).

The autoresponder did not send any mails eg. Also it is not possible
to sign in more than one person at once in the same registration form.

But that is not my main issue. I have set things so
that everything I need is running smoothly except for subscribers getting
permission to my events and registrations in their backoffice…

Feel free to contact me directly over my mailaddress: philey.kunisch@gmail.com

    Thanks

I meant email me at support @ fullworks.net ( yes my contact form encourages use of the free forum for free support ).

    But as you are here.

    1. The autoresponder did not send any mails – this functionality works – if set up correctly and enabled – however many WordPress sites themselves also have issues with actual mail deliver too.

    2. Yes you can’t sign the same email in twice on the registration form, but I’m not sure why you would want to, you can add ‘places’ so the person can order two places

    I’ll drop you an email.
