Permissions not working for custom user roles

    I have a membership site with custom user roles “Silver”, “Gold” and “Diamond”.

    The custom user roles show up in DWQA Settings->Permissions, where I have checked “Read” and “Post” in the Question section for a Silver user.

    However, when a Silver user tries to post a question, he/she gets “You do not have permission to submit question”.
