# Permission issues

 * Hallo,
 * First of all, thank you for this amazing plug-in, it makes tables so easy!
 * Second, I’ve been having some troubles with my website after a bad plugin install
   and lost permission for some of my plugins. I got all of them back with simply
   reinstalling the plugs, but not tablepress.
 * I think the problem is simular to this thread, but there is no direct awnser 
   in there

 * Also I can’t see the plugin in my dashboard and it gives me the message I don’t
   have the permissions when I try to acces it through a direct link. Hope you can
   help me.

 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * The reason for this is probably that the capabilities (user access rights) somehow
   got messed up. To fix this, I recommend to use the “Role Manager” component of
   the “Members” plugin from [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members/)
   
   With that, you can restore the capabilities.
 * Here’s a list of capabilities that “Authors”, “Editors”, and “Administrators”
   get:
 *     ```
       tablepress_edit_tables
       tablepress_delete_tables
       tablepress_list_tables
       tablepress_add_tables
       tablepress_copy_tables
       tablepress_import_tables
       tablepress_export_tables
       tablepress_access_options_screen
       tablepress_access_about_screen
       ```
   
 * Additionally, only “Administrators” get
 *     ```
       tablepress_import_tables_wptr
       tablepress_edit_options
       ```
   
 * If that does not work, please send me an email, with information to a temporary
   admin account, and I’ll gladly take a direct look. (My address is in the main
   plugin file “tablepress.php”.)
