Hello i am planning the buy the plugins. Currently i have multivendor website. My plan is assigning responsibles for spesific product categories. He will be able to list or add or edit the products under that spesific category. I don’t want every responsible person to reach every product. And for the orders i want to assign that person to see the orders including that category product. Is that possible with your plugin? Or can we get any additional customization for your plugin?

    Hi @orsaweb

Thanks for using PublishPress Capabilities. We’ll need more information please, particularly about which multivendor plugin you’re using.

Maybe contact us via our website and send more details?

I’m using dokan pro plugins for multivendor. https://turkishdepot.com
I am planning to have more products in the feature. If so, i will not be able to control all of the products. I want to assign some shop manager spesificly for different categories. But they will only be able to see, add, edit or update for their categories.
For example fashion manager will only have control over fashion category products.

Hi @orsaweb. We don’t have a copy of the Dokan plugins so it’s hard to know for sure, however this should be possible if they follow normal WordPress standards.

I think Dokan will not be matter. Because i mention all above for wp-admin not for the front end. Think about wordpress role system and woocommerce products and categories. On the wp-admin, when the user clicks to the products, the user (authorized for a certain category) should only list its categor products. I don’t want him to be able to delete or see all of the website’s products.

Hi @orsaweb Yes, this is possible if you use the PublishPress Permissions Pro plugin: https://publishpress.com/permissions/

That allows you to control permissions for individual product categories.

The Capabilities plugin can not be that specific.

Hello i bought the plugin according to your last statement. But i can not see any permision regarding to products categories. There are posts, pages, media and terms but no product categories
