 * Hi there,
 * I am unable to rid of WooCommerce update notification despite updating to the
   latest version 2.5.2.
 * I know WooCommerce is the plugin causing this because when I deactivate WooCommerce
   the update notification disappears, when I enable WooCommerce, the update notification
   appears again. How do I remove this false update notification from WordPress?

 * What host, and is there any visible caching in the admin area?

 * Hi Mike,
 * Thank you for your reply. I am hosting with SiteGround and there are no caching
   plugins on my installation. Furthermore, caching server side is also disabled.
 * The notification goes once I disable the plugin but when I re-enable it appears
   again?
 * Many Thanks,
    Jawad

 * Your DB version is up to date. I assume clicking it to run again doesn’t do anything?

 * Hi Mike,
 * How do I run the DB update again? I do not see this option anywhere?
 * The only thing odd when updating WooCommerce this time is that usually after
   updating the plugin I am usually asked to run the database updater. However,
   this time when I upgraded the plugin I was not asked this. I thought this was
   because it happened automatically or it was a minor update which did not require
   it.
 * I assume since System Status is showing the DB up to date, that it is correctly
   updated?
 * I can provide access if there was a way to submit them privately.
 * Many Thanks,
    Jawad

 * O, is that not what you were referring to?

 * Are you talking about the one on the ‘plugins’ screen?

 * Hi Mike,
 * Oh yes, there has been some misunderstanding. I am referring to the plugins update
   screen. Please see attached:
 * [https://i.gyazo.com/49489190cc0042436f90625df4c92c97.png](https://i.gyazo.com/49489190cc0042436f90625df4c92c97.png)
 * This update notification is in relation to the WooCommerce plugin as when I disable
   the WooCommerce plugin the notification disappears. For some reason WordPress
   feels WooCommerce still requires an update.
 * Many Thanks,
    Jawad

 * Hi Dimitris,
 * Thank you for your reply. Yes I have tried on a different computer and also my
   mobile. This update notification shows on different devices/browsers.

 * Lately i get this issue too and i am not really sure what is causing it.Did you
   clear your cache and browser history?

 * Hi Dimitris,
 * Thank you for your reply. Yes, I did try clearing it and also tried accessing
   it via a new device.
 * I waited until another plugin required an update, and once I updated this then
   it fixed the notification issue and does not show any updates required anymore.
   A bit strange, but its fixed now!
 * I am sure it was WooCommerce which was giving the notification though as when
   this was disabled the notification disappeared.
 * Many Thanks,
    Jawad

 * Yep, totally – not a huge issue, just annoying seeing the update notification,
   I like keeping everything updated! 🙂 Glad its fixed now though.
