# Permanent “Process Complete” message

 * since the last update, the message ‘WP Statistics: Process Complete – The Database
   Migration process has been completed successfully. Thank you for keeping WP Statistics
   up-to-date!’ permanently.
 * If you close the message with the X, it opens again every time you switch to 
   another page in the backend.
 * How can this be fixed?

 * Could you please check the `wp_statistics_jobs` and `wp_statistics_dismissed_notices`
   entries in the `wp_options` table?
 * Alternatively, you can use WP-CLI to retrieve the values with the following commands:
 * `wp option get wp_statistics_jobs
   wp option get wp_statistics_dismissed_notices

 * We’re having the same issue as described above – with the additional quirk that
   we’re not able to remove the succes message (clicking on the “X” doesn’t seem
   to be doing anything).
 * And the above data entries seem to be completely missing in our database … we
   only have
    - wp_statistics_plugin_version
    - wp_statistics_db_version
    - wp_statistics
    - widget_wp_statistics_widget
    - wp_statistics_check_useronline
    - wp_statistics_overview_page_ads
    - wp_statistics_referrals_detail
    - wp_statistics_disable_addons

 * I was able to remove this message permanently by dis- and re-enabling the plugin.

 * Please note that WP Statistics relies on the `wp_statistics_dismissed_notices`
   option to determine whether a notice should be displayed.

   appearing unnecessarily and disrupting the user experience. This change is based
   on feedback highlighting the inconvenience it has caused for some users.
