Permalinks with Trailing Slash not working! (2 posts)

My wordpress blog was 'hacked' yesterday and many index and default files were left on the server, therefore replacing the homepage. The database was unaffected and I had a backup of the files. I cleaned the server and FTP'd the backup.

The blog is now online again with the correct homepage, but now my permalinks which all have a trailing slash (they always have, I can see them in google) give me a 404. If I switch to a permalink format without a trailing slash everything works fine.

I am on IIS6 on Shared Hosting and the host cannot find a problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at a dead end and would really like to keep the existing link format the way it has always worked!
