# Permalinks Problem

 * Okay, so I am trying to make a post in my “Interviews” category.
 * The link was; [http://www.happy-ever-after.org/interviews/11/2014/jaymin-eve/](http://www.happy-ever-after.org/interviews/11/2014/jaymin-eve/)
 * But I changed the last part to just ‘jaymineve’ so it would be this;
 * [http://www.happy-ever-after.org/interviews/11/2014/jaymineve/](http://www.happy-ever-after.org/interviews/11/2014/jaymineve/)
 * Except, every time I try that, it changes it to;
 * [http://www.happy-ever-after.org/interviews/11/2014/jaymineve-2/](http://www.happy-ever-after.org/interviews/11/2014/jaymineve-2/)
 * instead…. now, I DO have another post called ‘jaymineve’ but its under a DIFFERENT
   category and I was under the impression that as long as we had categories in 
   our permalinks, that we could have more than one post or page called the same
   thing?
 * If so, then why is it doing this?
 * In case it matters, the other post with ‘jaymineve’ is;

 * So yes, the same year and month but I thought it was the categories that mattered.

 * Do you happen to have a post in your trash with the same title? You can check
   in the admin of your site.

 * There were some things in the trash but nothing with that same title. I did try
   deleting the trash and trying again (just in case) and that did not work. I’m
   really stumped 🙁
