 * **How to remove category base from URL?** The way, when in rewrite.php changes‘
   category’ -> ”doesn’t work, because of 404 error.
 * Now: [http://www.domain./category-base/category](http://www.domain./category-base/category)
 * After: [http://www.domain./category](http://www.domain./category)
 * **If there are no way to remove, how to add this category base to post URL?**

 * Have you played around with the custom permalink option in Settings -> Permalink.
   You should be able to get your desired result using the many tags available here:
   [http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Structure_Tags](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Structure_Tags)
 * something like: `%category%/%postname%` would probably do the trick.

 * I have tried, but no succes + wordpress doesn’t work when “Category base” is 
   the same as the “Category” name or when use the same name in permalink structure.
 * **For example: **
    If I use structure as: /AA/%category%/%postname% Category 
   base: AA
 * I am getting 404 error while trying to view post’s
 * And when “Category base” is empty, it ads ugly “/category/” in URL, which is 
   totally useless.
