# Permalinks for categories

 * Hi,
 * I’ve customized the permalink structure with /%category%/%postname%/. Now, for
   example, I can point people to [http://www.site.com/photography/albumname/](http://www.site.com/photography/albumname/)
   for the post that contains the album. However, when clicking on the category 
   link, the url is [http://www.site.com/category/photography/](http://www.site.com/category/photography/),
   which is confusing. Is there any way to make a category page look like [http://www.site.com/photography/](http://www.site.com/photography/),
   without too much mod rewrites (preferably none at all)?
