Permalinks are wrong

    Hi Can anyone help me, my permalinks are wrong for certain pages. I need to correct this but not sure if I can as my site is now live!!!!

    I am not a website guru so I need it explaining in lamans terms, just an example below for the link:

    http://www.chalkleys.com/contact-us/administration/

    This is not correct and I am not sure what I am doing with Custom Permalinks.

    Hi suzefarenden

    Your permalinks look ok from my side. Did you perhaps make Contact Us the parent of Administration? That would cause this. You can change a page’s slug by editing the page, right under the title is the option to change the slug.

    I have found the ‘slug’ and it is stating the page name. I have a parent page called Services Provided and this has the child pages listed.

    These are the ones which are wrong. On the main page editing the permalink it only allows me to change the child page – not the actual parent page

    – so this link should be http://www.chalkleys.com/services-provided/administration

    I do not know what else to do!!!!!!!

    If Administration has Services Provided listed as a parent then Services Provided should be in the url not Contact Us.

    Try heading to Settings > Permalinks and hitting the Save button there.
