# Permalinks & Slug adding -2

 * After importing my posts I am getting my permalinks and slugs looking like this:
 * post-name-2
 * instead of:
 * post-name
 * Is there a way to automatically remove the ‘-2’ from all permalinks?
 * Also, is there a way to automatically remove filler words like ‘the’ ‘of’, ect
   from permalinks?
 * Thanks!
