 * I’m having real issues with my perma link coding…
 * this is what it looks like

 * in the year it should say 2011 and in post name – it should say the name of my
   posts – but it doesn’t.
 * This is what I have entered in my custom field on my permalink page
 * > /http:/drydiapersplus.ca/year/post-name/
 * I’ve read the Using Permalinks page on WordPress help – but I’m just not getting
   it…

   names wrapped in percentage tags?

 * That is not correct. You need to use **only** the WordPress permalink tags, and
   no URL. Example:
 * `/%year%/%postname%/`
 * …would result in URLs like
 * http:/drydiapersplus.ca/2011/post-name/
