    /%postname%/ should work to just display the page’s title as permalink.

    There’s also a Plugin called “Custom Permalinks”, which allows you to manipulate the permalinks of every page and post by hand.

    Just /%postname%/ gives problems sometimes, I don’t recommend it. My permalink gives the pages as you want and posts with the ID before the postname.

    Sebsteen, you can edit every permalink in WP without the use of a plugin, taking that you don’t use default.
