Permalinks

    If I look at Site Admin > WPG2 > Gallery Rewrites I see:

    Error: WordPress Permalinks is not Active
    In order to support Gallery2 Rewrite rules, you must have a WordPress Permalinks Active, please Configure WordPress Permalinks from the Wordpres Options Panel.

    But if I go to Admin site > Settings > PermaLinks and select the “Default” radio button, I am told “Permalink structure updated.” and if I go to the Media Library and click a permalink, I get were I am supposed to go.

    So, can anybody explain why WPG2 think permalinks is not active?
