Permalink uses *previous* page for URL

  • Hi all,

I have a fresh install of WordPress on an Ubuntu box with PHP5 and MySQL. The only setting I’ve changed is in the Permalink section, where I’ve set the permalink to ‘Post name’.

The first new Page I created was fine, it had the name of the title as the permalink. However, for each subsequent page I create, the permalink uses the *previous* post’s title.

    To reproduce:
*Create 2 pages of titles test001,test002. The page for test002 will get a permalink of http://www.site.com/test001, thus overwriting the first page. Here’s a screenshot of that happening (with a 5th test page):

I’ve tried reinstalling WordPress. The same problem persists on two different computers (Windows Vista with Firefox 8, OS X with Firefox 3.6.25).

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    gzzw
