# Permalink Updated

 * I updated my permalink link structure and thought I had some good plugins to 
   help out.
 * I used redirection but this wont automatically issue redirects for the old permalink
   to the new one. It creates a log, but I have to manually do each post.
 * Advanced permalink seemed like it would do it, but after completing the migration
   feature it doesn’t seem to work. I disabled it and the developer no longer provides
   support.
 * I wasn’t sure what the proper coding was for the .htaccess file to redirect the
   following:
 * **Old Permalink:** /%category%/%postname%/%post_id%/
    **New Permalink:** /%category%/%
   postname%/
 * Website is displaying properly, just want to automatically have old links redirect
   to the new one.
