[Resolved] Permalink structure vs Sitemap Contradictions

  • I am having an issue with the Permalinks and how each pages Parent page is causing the URL to show something that I do not need there.

Currently all pages falls under Home page as their parents, this is good for SEO purposes and for the crawlers to easily navigate throughout your site.

The issue I’m having is that by having this the Permalinks is showing http://www.example.com/home/products and not http://www.example.com/products. I think this is the way WordPress is written. Is there anyway to go around that and not have the /HOME/ in every single page without taking out the PARENT relationship with other pages?

    Thank you!
