    Is it possible to have new sites on a multisite have permalinks other than the standard /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ format? For instance, I’d like new sites to have /%post_id%/%postname%/ by default.

    Yes. The same as you can have permalinks set on SingleSite 🙂

    look for the new blog defaults plugin to set this automatically.

    Thanks guys, I didn’t even think about the defaults plugin. That’ll work 🙂

    Not the same as SingleSite, Ipstenu. Members creating new blogs always defaults to year/month/day/title format on MultiSites, far as I can tell.
