If you’re using Yoast SEO 15.1 or greater, the plugin should be able to detect changes to the home URL or permalink structure changes. Can you confirm that you’re using the latest version of Yoast SEO?
Can you go to SEO > Tools and check to see if the SEO data optimization completed? If not, please click the button to run the process.
You can also choose to ignore the warning and wait for a few days while Yoast SEO automatically processes your content in the background instead.

when I wrote the above I was on version 15.7 and was auto-updated to version 15.8 since.
I clicked the button to run the process — but I’m fairly certain that I had done that in the past already, when I was first prompted to do so with the introduction of this feature in version 14. It is now completed (once more).
