• I’ve modified my permalink structure via permalink options and .htaccess. Now I have a problem with the search option. If I enter something in the search field from the root (mysite.com/wordpress/index.php), the search works fine. But, if I search something from the archives, ie mysite.com/wordpress/archives/2005/02/, I get an error. I suppose this has something to do with me editing the permalink structure. How can I fix this?

    We need to know three things.
    1. What version of WP?
    2. What kind of error?
    3. What’s your URL? (for test purposes)

    Looking at the source of your page, I’m seeing the following for your search form:

    <form id="searchform" method="get" action="./index.php">

    What is the value you have set for the action attribute in your template?

    Blah. Silly me. My fault, didn’t look for the source of the problem the way I should’ve. Thnx for the help.
