 * My url has a # (hash) mark after the /.
 * Example:
 * [http://www.designobsessions.com/#profile](http://www.designobsessions.com/#profile)
 * [http://www.designobsessions.com/#contact](http://www.designobsessions.com/#contact)
 * What do I need to do to remove that?

 * well I can make it do that if I add
    #profile to url – but you can add #anything
   to a url and the browser will look for an anchor – if not finding it, will revert
   to actual url preceding
 * you don’t see that when clicking on the links do you?

 * I’m seeing the # anchor on Chrome, Firefox and IE8.
 * It’s part of the theme, probably the bit which does the fancy text slide thing.
   Looks like it’s this doing the work:
    [http://www.designobsessions.com/wp-content/themes/galleria/js/custom.js?ver=1.2.6](http://www.designobsessions.com/wp-content/themes/galleria/js/custom.js?ver=1.2.6)
 * I don’t know enough about Javascript to know how to disable that, or whether
   just removing the reference to that script would work or not, sorry. But hey,
   at least you’re not going mad. 🙂

 * looks like i might be screwed then because i’m not well versed in any of this,
   let alone javascript
 * if anybody could help me disable that would be great
