# Permalink Question

 * Hello,
 * My site, [http://dallaspoledancing.com/](http://dallaspoledancing.com/) has an
   [articles page](http://dallaspoledancing.com/articles/). I currently have permalinks
   set to /%postname%/.
 * Here is the issue. When i create a new post, the url doesnt reflect that it is
   an article….instead, the url reads:
 * [http://dallaspoledancing.com/new-article/](http://dallaspoledancing.com/new-article/)
 * when it _SHOULD_ read like this:
 * [http://dallaspoledancing.com/article/new-post/](http://dallaspoledancing.com/article/new-post/)
 * Trying to figure out why its leaving out the “article” part of the url??
 * Oddly, the breadcrumb navigation shows it correctly!

 * its leaving out /article/ because it isn’t in the permalinks? i’m not sure why
   you think it should auto add article?
 * you either need to do /article/%postname%/ or a better solutions would be to 
   create a category called article and have /%category%/%postname%/. This would
   auto create a listing page called /article/.
