# Permalink question

 * So i have a wordpress page with permalink [http://www.mysite.com/my-site-com](http://www.mysite.com/my-site-com)
   
   and i deleted the page, and created a folder on my server in [http://www.mysite.com/my-site-com/](http://www.mysite.com/my-site-com/)
   and uploaded an index.html file there. Is it only me that it’s not showing up
   and giving 500 error ?

 * I have this working on my site by doing the following:
    1) Create a page and 
   make sure the slug matches the folder you created on your server. Don’t add any
   content to this page and use the default template.
 * 2) Upload your html file into that folder on your web server.
 * I’ve done this on WordPress 3.4.
 * Let me know if this works for you.
