# permalink PROBLEM..help

 * hi, this has been going on a while now but it looks so ugly on the site i have
   to do something (www.satvoices.com)
 * I changed my common permalinks to custom then put /
    so satvoices.com/p=141 would
   be like satvoices/garmin-voices.
 * That was great…BUT…..then all posts were all [http://www.satvoices.com](http://www.satvoices.com)
   with no code bit after so they all just went to the homepage satvoices.com/
 * i have changed it back so the posts all work but now i have ugly urls for my 
   main pages, any help would be great, thanks in advance.
