# Permalink problem help ASAP!

 * Hello,
    I re structured my permalink so that it is postname only.
 * Instead of showing the posts name on the title it literally shows the postname
   field for every post!
 * [http://www.doggeekz.com](http://www.doggeekz.com)
 * click on any article and it will show /postname/
 * How can I fix this? My htaccess looks fine?

 * well look at the browser title it says post name, instead of the title of the
   post.
 * For instance all my articles say /postname/ on my browser.. instead of it saying
   for example.

 * Seems like that might be a theme issue(?). If you temporarily switch to the Default
   theme, do you see the same title?
 * If not, compare each theme’s handling of the `<title>` tag (presumably in header.
   php).
