• I downloaded theme-my-login, while getting ‘familiarized’ with the settings/modules I arbitrarily set up the permalink for what was going to be my login page: dnbrawler.com/login. What occurred instead is my homepage now is dnbrawler.com/dnbrawler.com/login. I deleted everything in the text field but my problem still stands– My current problem now is that I can’t access my homepage at all and this is the only page that in which this problem occurs.

    My original site url: dnbrawler.com
When I try to access it this comes up: dnbrawler.com/dnbrawler.com/login

I tried to go to the index page and edit the permalink however it still says dnbrawler.com/ no permalink (checked the slug too)
I backed up and deleted my .htaccess as well.

I tried to manipulate my site url in the database and still no effect. Can someone help me?

  • Hi,

In my case, I just downloaded the plugin and activated it WITHOUT adding any permalink; with the default setting the plugin adds the login extension to the URL end!
So, you may configured it with your URL and this doubled your URL!
Try to remove the plugin (delete its folder via your FTP if you haven’t access to your admin page) and re-install the plugin with the default setting to see if you get what you want.

I’ve already done that–I deleted the folder completely. I even tried to submit a new value “/index” to see if the url would change to “dnbrawler.com/index” but it didn’t.
