# Permalink problem

 * I hope I can find someone who knows what is going on. 🙂 I’ve been working on
   this blog for a few days and it’s started messing up when I look at a post. If
   I look at the main blog, [http://flutterbygifts.com/blog](http://flutterbygifts.com/blog),
   it looks fine. It even looks OK if I go to a single post with the date link, 
   like this [http://flutterbygifts.com/blog/2007/07/20/](http://flutterbygifts.com/blog/2007/07/20/).
   But if I click on the title of the post to look at a single post suddenly the
   CSS isn’t working anymore. Like this, [http://flutterbygifts.com/blog/2007/07/20/growth/](http://flutterbygifts.com/blog/2007/07/20/growth/).
   I’m still fairly new at this so I’m not sure what I should be looking for. Nothing
   has been messed with other than adding the FeedBurner code at the bottom of the
   single post file. Is there something I need to be looking for?

 * It’s your META tags. The one immediately before your call to the stylesheet is:
   `
   <meta name="author" content="_your name goes here_ />`
 * You’re missing the closing quotation mark after “here_” and that’s messing up
   your LINK to the CSS. You other pages don’t have those extra META tags and so
   don’t have the same problem. Look through the code and compare your home page
   with a single post page; you should be able to spot it. Fix that in your `Single
   Post` template.

 * I waited a bit to make sure because changes seem to be slow to show up for me.
   Either it still isn’t showing up or that didn’t work. :/
