Permalink / New Page Issue

    I recently upgraded to WP2.0 and have spent the day fixing up little things that went screwy when I did the upgrade. The last thing I have that’s still driving me up the wall is an issue with what appears to be permalinks and initiating new pages.

    The permalink structure I have selected works AOK with Blog posts, but when I go to start any new page, when clicked on I just get a blank white screen.

    Has anyone had this happen before? Any idea of a solution??

    yes, it happened to me. i have no idea what to do.

    Try clicking on the options/permalink/update structure button — I seem to need to do it most every time I create a new page.

    I have this same exact problem, but mine actually pulls up a 404 Page Not Found error message. If anyone finds a way to fix it, that would be awesome.

    But if I turn permalinks off and use the default structure (ugly links), my pages appear just like normal.

    jsiglin, change permissions to your htaccess file to 777, adjust permalinks via admin panel, then set htaccess permissions to 644

    neon, I tried what you just suggested, but it didn’t seem to help at all…
