# Permalink loop

 * I finally have figured out how to get my permalinks working but i am running 
   into a problem – most of the times they work but on some pages I get stuck into
   a loop – instead of going to another page when the nav bar is clicked on it loops
   back to the current page –
 * new-blog once i go into this page i cant get out of it – it does this [http://www.mydomain.com/new-blog?page_id=2](http://www.mydomain.com/new-blog?page_id=2)
   where as page_id=2 is the contact us page –
 * anyone have any idea what is wrong?

 * Figured it out – it was a simple task of changing from default links using the
   page id to the permalink instead – that fixed it –
