Permalink location

Simple. It is what allows others to give feedback on their own blogs, by linking directly to the post. Would you prefer them to respond without referencing the original? That and bookmarking an article of interest are the only purposes I can think of for the permalink. I would be interested to hear what other uses you have for them, or indeed if you use them at all.
