 * Great idea. Simple but very powerful plugin.
 * The only thing I found till now is the permalink. It keeps using /documents**/
   yyyy/mm/** format, even I changed the permalink to postname or anything else.
 * Hopefully someone is still maintaining this great plugin.
 * Thanks anyway.

 * Well I kind of understand why now. The real file sits in Uploads/yyyy/mm folder
   with hashed names.

 * I’m using this WP DR add-on to remove document dates from the permalinks: [https://github.com/benbalter/WP-Document-Revisions-Code-Cookbook/blob/master/remove-date-from-permalink.php](https://github.com/benbalter/WP-Document-Revisions-Code-Cookbook/blob/master/remove-date-from-permalink.php)
 * If you’ve already created documents, you’ll need to use a plugin such as Better
   Search and Replace to update the database.
