# Permalink Issue

 * In the admin panel go to Settings > Permalinks. Change it to another setting (
   should be default now) and Save. If your .htaccess is writeable, you are done.
   If not copy and paste the code shown on your screen to your .htaccess file which
   is located in the root folder of your WordPress installation.

 * You can change the permalink structure, but this affects all pages/posts, not
   just ones you pick and choose.
 * To do this go to ‘Settings -> Permalinks’ and add the custom structure of ‘/%
   postnome%/’ (without the quotes).
 * If any pages/posts do not have the name you would like you can then go and edit
   the page/post and click ‘Edit’ next to the permalink.
 * It’s far better for search engines to use a permalink structure such as this,
   as opposed to the default WP structure.
