# Permalink help

 * I am not able to change my premalink structure from default. When ever I try 
   to change them it says to edit my htaccess file
    What to do???

 * Edit your .htaccess file and add the rules that WordPress has provided? Try asking
   your hosts for assistance with this.

 * It just tells me to edit the .htaccess nothing else. It does not tell me to edit
   it in such a way..add this line or that it just gives a line that edit your .
   htaccess

 * It also gives you the code to add to your .htaccess file.

 * yeah found them.. the instructions were coming at the bottom of the page and 
   the edit .htaccess was coming at the top. But there is no .htaccess at my server,
   I even searched for a .htaccess. I had a .htaces issue with phpbb in another 
   site and the suport made me create a .htaccess file.
    I guess i will have to 
   contact my support. have contacted them.
