# Permalink edit not working

 * I recently upgraded to 2.9 and now my permalink edit button does nothing.
 * It is setup for custom structure /%postname%/
 * when i hit the edit button nothing happens…nothing at all.
 * HELP

 * A workaround is to edit the slug using the quick edit in the posts list. It seems
   to be using that as the permalink.
