# Permalink edit doesn't save without hitting update

 * On editing the permalink for a post / page, the OK button doesn’t save the changes
   to the database. You must hit “Update” for the changes to take effect.
 * Is there any reason why it couldn’t do this? I’d be willing to make the changes,
   but wanted to see if there’s any reason why this shouldn’t be done first.
