[Resolved] permalink delete words

  • just installed wordpress, and my permalink is the post-title
but if the post title is bit longer it deletes the words
    it looks like this
    web.site.com/post-number-one-whatss-u/
    instead of
    web.site.com/post-number-one-whatss-up-man/

how can i fix this ?

    thank you guys :]

  • You can manually alter the permalink title for each post or page. On the page or post editor you will see the permalink underneath your title box you can edit it from there.

However I never seen it shrink the title I have some super long ones on some of my sites.

    1. My site is in Hebrew, does it make any difference? (Hebrew chars)
    2. I know i can manually alter the post afterwards, but my website has many posts and I can’t edit all of them, I want it done automatically..

Is there a place in WP that limits the chars in the permalink box? And if yes where do I change it ?
