# Permalink changes after loading

 * I have a home page with the page title of Home…
 * The permalink for this page is: [http://www.speakuptheywilllisten.com/](http://www.speakuptheywilllisten.com/)
 * I can load the page from WP desktop perfectly
 * If you call it up from [http://SpeakUpTheyWillListen.com](http://SpeakUpTheyWillListen.com)
   it will load properly… BUT, when you use the nav bar and visit another page…
 * and them recall the home page…
    it will try and load: [http://www.speakuptheywilllisten.com/home-2/](http://www.speakuptheywilllisten.com/home-2/)
 * so, from the internet, you cannot get back to the index page…
 * where the /home-2/ comes from… I do not know…
 * All suggestions will be appreciated

 * The original page that I deleted was still in the trash…
 * Once I emptied the trash, everything worked perfectly!
 * Case Closed!
