    Hi,

I have the following permalink configuration:

    /%category%/%postname%

When I add a category to the menu (Blog, for example), instead of linking to

    www.mysite.com/blog (wich works)

    it links to

    www.mysite.com/category/blog (wich doesn’t work)

However every post on that category, has the right link, like:

    www.mysite.com/blog/new-post

    What am I doing wrong?

    Try just /%postname%/

and add category(s) to the post(s)…

This will allow you to find and link to all posts in the category or the single post…combined with the categories default menu or a custom menu, this will serve well for both site navigation and pretty permalinks structure for SEO.

You can see this working on my linked to blog (click my name).
