However, the issue happened to the site for the first time after deactivating and then re-activating WooCommerce. * Although category and tag URLs are still working just fine, product URLs (/produit) return a 404 no found error. If I change the product permalinks to something else (i.e. product, produit2, test, etc.), it works like a charm! However, we need to keep it as /produit for SEO. * To fix the issue, I first checked the **_wp\_posts_** table and looked for “** produit**” slug in the **_post\_name_** column in order to check whether there was a conflict or not. As you see in the screenshot below, no post or page uses the /produit slug: * ![](https://i0.wp.com/i.imgur.com/2bRsUkB.png?ssl=1) * I deactivated the WooCommerce plugin and deleted the **_woocommerce\_permalinks_** row from the **wp_options** table. This fixed our issue. However, the thing is that, if I click on the **_WordPress Dashboard –> Settings –> Permalinks_** menu, the same issue occurs again and all the product URLs return a 404 error. None of them helped to fix the issue. You can do this by going to your WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks, and simply click‘ Save Changes’ at the bottom of the page.
