# permalink and category problem

 * When I use /%postname%/ in permalinks and then when you click on category in 
   the post you get a 404 page not found error. If I remove /%postname%/ then the
   category page is found. How can I fix this so I can use a permalink AND have 
   the category page be found?

 * I tried changing the permalink to /%post_id%/%postname%/ but when I click on 
   category I still get a 404 error.
 * Can anyone help or is problem unfixable?
