We’re looking to set the generic WordPress posts permalink to all include /blog/ before the post name, but when we add that to the permalink structure it’s adding it to all our custom post types set up through Pods too. Is there some way to have the custom post types not inherit that setting?

You need to set the “Rewrite with Front” options under Advanced Options for your Custom Post Type created with Pods.

From the help text: Allows permalinks to be prepended with your front base (example: if your permalink structure is /blog/, then your links will be: Unchecked->/news/, Checked->/blog/news/)
