    Hello there,
I’m trying to optimize my website with “Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster” or
Async JavaScript” (I’m testing it these days), but I see that when any of these two is enabled I lose the copy content protection. This means that right click is enabled again and it’s just like SCCP wouldn’t be installed at all.

What is the correct way to avoid this to happen?
Is there a specific JS that I can add to the “exclude” field, so it will skip the block/defer/async functionality?

    Thanks in advance,
    Marco

    Thank you for the topic.

I have passed your case to our Development Team and they have checked it out.
They tested this case and noticed that everything works fine in this regard on our end.

Most presumably, there is an individual case that occurred to you.
So, please provide us with the link where the copy protection works so that we can check, understand what is the problem, and help you to solve it.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you.

    Hello Jasmine,
    thanks for your prompt reply.

I have actually reset all Asset CleanUp settings to start from scratch, but I don’t actually have issues with SCCP, I just wanted to know which script to put into the “exclude” setting in Asset CleanUp, so it won’t affect the right click blocking.

Did the team set up the whole thing or just install Asset CleanUp and test?

    Dear @chefspuntozero,

    Thank you for your reply.

I want to mention that JavaScript is being generated once via PHP and is being connected to each page.
You can’t exclude it as it is not an external JavaScript file.

As to the final question (connected to our Development Team), they have installed the Asset CleanUp plugin, enabled all the options, and checked/tested this case.
We have checked and noticed that the right-click option was normally working and there was no problem found in this regard.

    Thank you.

    Alright Jasmine,
    thanks for clarification.

Might this be due to minification then?

Sure, I will try debugging this on my side.

But anyway, as said, I’ve reset Asset CleanUp settings and the right click was blocked again.
So there must be something in settings preventing it to work.

    Thank you.
