# Performance (Speed) Issue

 * I loaded the plugin in my development environment and ran a GT metrics speed 
   scan which returned a performance recommendation tied to the plugin. I can fix
   this but if the plugin is not modified, each time I update the plugin, the lag
   issue will return.
 * Combine images using CSS sprites
 * What’s this mean?
    The following images served from wpengine.com should be combined
   into as few images as possible using CSS sprites.
